Inaugural Blog
Happy Autumn.
Very pleased to have the site up and running. Dan Rigby, designer extraordinaire has done an awesome job and I will do all I can to keep content up to date and my blogs regular. Life as a filmmaker continues to be about deadlines, something that I do not foresee changing anytime in the immediate future. Those of you currently defending territory in the same universe know what I am talking about.
The big fall festival season in Canada (and abroad) is currently underway. "The Perfection of the Moment" will be appearing at a couple of festivals which launch this month. I will post all the screening info soon. Also, there are several features and shorts making the rounds that I am looking forward to seeing, time permitting. A few on the list: "Snow Cake", "The TV Set", "Half Nelson", "Missing Person", "Radiant City", "Summer Palace", "Unnatural & Accidental, "True Love", "Requiem", "That Beautiful Somewhere" and "Garage".
Also, if you have not seen the trailer for Little Children yet, get your biscuit over there.
