In Translation at Whistler 08
In Translation, the latest film by Director Corey Lee, wil screen at the 2008 Whistler Film Festival, happening in Whistler, BC, December 4 - 7. The film is included in the SHORTFEST THREE - Strange Circumstances program on Saturday December 6th at 1:00pm at the Village 8 Cinema, Theatre 7.
Produced by Lee and Susan Bristow, the script was co-written by Lee and author John Gould and adapted from the story of the same name by Gould, from his 2003 Giller Prize short-listed kilter: 55 fictions. The film features the wonderful talents of Vincent Gale ("Everest") and Montreal based, Simone Elise-Girard ("3 Needles") as a couple who struggles to communicate their mutual desire for intimacy. The film recently picked up the Best Alberta Short Film Award at the 2008 Edmonton International Film Festival.
