What You're Ready For - Complete

I am very pleased to report the completion of my latest film, "What You're Ready For", based on the story of the same name by 2003 Giller Prize nominated author, John Gould. The film stars Michael Riley (This is Wonderland) and Stephen Park (Slither) in the tale of an emotionally devestated man who seeks truth in the teachings of the charismatic self-help guru who stole his wife.

The short film, produced with support from Bravo!FACT and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts will hit the festival circuit this fall. Stay tuned for the trailer.

on a lighter note

Stumbled upon a couple of links in the last week which I thought I might share. Filmwad posted this article about Theatrical vs. Director's cuts. Three of my favourite films are discussed here - I'll let you guess which three I might be referring to. Secondly, I tripped over this at Filmcritic.com. This list is a bit all over the place and note the spoiler warning at the start, as it does basically give away the endings to all of these films. But, maybe you will be inspired to rediscover a great film, one which you have not seen in years... kind of like connecting with an old friend, but... you know... better.
