Pleased to report that the animated short film,
"Armour For a Boy", a coming of age tale told in 16th century feudal Japan, has gotten the greenlight from the fine folks at
BravoFACT. The three minute film will be produced through a combination of old and new techniques, with Director of Animation, and talented filmmaker in his own right,
Micheal Welchman, then drawing over each frame with pen and ink in his own unique style of hyper-organic and tangible moving imagery.
There is a lot yet to prep on this little monster before we really get into it, but till we have more to show, please go check out Mike's amazing work on own site -
Welchman Draws.
Cheers.
