Writer, Director and Co-Producer, Lee, who wrote and directed the 2003 feature film "Defining Edward", completed "The Perfection of the Moment" late in 2005. "The Perfection of the Moment" offers an unapologetic re-examination of one bad night, which unfolds as the narrator walks alone down a deserted city street, is threatened by drunks and called upon to question his own sexuality. The film stars Calgary actors Joel McNichol ("Defining Edward", "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford") and Gillian Carfra ("A Friend of the Family", "Dawn Anna").

"The Perfection of the Moment" is the first in a trilogy of short films adapted from Canadian author, John Gould's 2003 Giller Prize nominated collection, Kilter: 55 Fictions. Lee is currently in post-production on the second chapter, "What You're Ready For", starring celebrated Canadian actor Michael Riley.
