Defining Edward screens at the Nickle Arts Museum -- Thursday MARCH 13

The 2003 feature film, defining edward, will screen at 6:30pm on Thursday March 13th, 2008 at the Nickle Arts Museum on the University of Calgary Campus, 2500 University Drive Northwest, Calgary, Alberta. The film is being presented as part of the spring 2008 edition of the Nickle Nights Movie Series and admission is FREE. The writer and director, Corey Lee, will be in attendance for a brief Q & A following the film.
Meet Edward (Joel McNichol), a poverty stricken, substance-abusing cartoonist. When an allergic reaction lands him in the hospital, Edward checks himself out and wanders into unfamiliar territory.
Suffering from amnesia, Edward is attended to by Brian (Peter Strand Rumpel), a doctor who believes he can restore Edward's memory. As pieces of his past return, Edward meets Anna (Joely Collins), a timid artist, and Nick (Diego Del Mar), a foul mouthed welder, each who take vastly different approaches in their own attempts to cure him.
What began as the kindness of strangers turns into a twisted game of self-preservation, as Edward fights to unlock the truth behind his own troubled
past.
