What You're Ready For in Prairie Tales 10

It's official: the award winning short film What You're Ready For, written and directed by Corey Lee, will be included in this year's Prairie Tales, the annual touring collection of short film and video works by Alberta filmmakers and media artists. The second film in Lee's Kilter Trilogy recently picked up the award for Best Short Film at the 2008 Alberta Film and Television Awards, after receiving six nominations, and won the Best Alberta Short Film prize at the 2007 Edmonton International Film Festival.

The 10th edition of Prairie Tales has just begun it's tour and will be screening next at the North Country Fair in Driftpile, AB this weekend, June 20-22. Next it will be presented at Edmonton's Metro Cinema on Saturday July 12th, 2008 as part of Cinemathon, which will feature various art activites, short film and video works, as well as live music.

Prairie Tales 10 is presented by the Metro Cinema Society with support from Canada Council for the Arts, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the Alberta Media Arts Alliance Society.
