IN TRANSLATION at Prairie Tales 11 at the Plaza Theatre

All three films in the Kilter Trilogy have been selected for Prairie Tales, the annual touring collection of Alberta-based film and media artworks curated by Edmonton's Metro Cinema. The 11th edition of the program, which includes the final Kilter chapter, "In Translation", will screen Sunday January 31st at 7pm at the Plaza theatre in Calgary. This Calgary premiere screening is presented by the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (CSIF), Quickdraw Animation Society and EMMEDIA with the generous support of Kensington's historic Plaza Theatre.
Previously, "In Translation" won the 2008 Edmonton International Film Festival's Best of Alberta Short Film Award, the Grand Prize at 2009 MING Short Film Festival, Best Original Dramatic Score at the 2009 Alberta Film & Television Awards, as well as screening at a variety of festivals, including the 2008 Whistler Film Festival and the 2008 Calgary International Film Festival, as a finalist for the Best of Alberta.
